Context
With the growing adoption of web3, ecosystems face challenges in delivering scalability and new functionalities. In this context, ecosystems of L2, app chains, cross-chain, and entirely new modular networks emerge. Among these new segments and projects, those that most attract the attention of NodeGen are the protocols and networks focused on AI, which, along with web3, redefine the technological market.
For these projects to function correctly and in a decentralized manner, infrastructure and validation are necessary. Here is where nodes come into play; they are nothing more than decentralized servers that provide infrastructure and validate through some consensus mechanism, such as proof of work and proof of stake.
Nodes are, therefore, essential for the operation and decentralization of the project, and for project users, running a node is a way to support the project and be rewarded with tokens and benefits.
